Restoran SS2 Murni (a mamak place)

Restoran Murni SS2 was shortlisted in the Best Hawker / Mamak category of the Time Out KL Food Awards 2010. The food awards are 100% voted for by the people of KL.

here goes my 1st visit on Restoran SS2 MURNI

it's been a while we haven't meet up as we all are busy with our teaching life now...

hardly find time for us to gather again....a big thanks to my dear friend, Melody who plan up the 1st meetup

 @ RESTORAN SS2 MURNI

it's a mamak place so you don't expect to have a classy environment or quite ambiance here

but it's a good hangout place as you will be treated with comforting food and drinks....

so why not?????^^

they have other chain of MURNI as you can spot here from their menu

erm....the MENU is kinda sticky (I don't want to know why or else something disgust will fill up my mind) and it's gonna tore apart anytime....so please be nice to it~~=)

well, as we browse through the menu, we noticed loads of choices and funny names around...which is quite catchy such as "roti Beckham, roti salad, roti hawaii, mee RAJA, Ice blended pink panther........"

Alright here's my share...

sorry guys for not sharing some of the price and name here because the bill just stated the total amount.

But, no worries I can tell that this is something affordable, non-pricey and most importantly the food and drinks here put me into thumbs!!!! Just that I hope that they can upgrade the mamak to a bigger place to occupy more people so that we don't have to stand to wait for table...

First of all...

 Mango Special Longan Nata de Coco (RM5)

Roti Hawaii RM5 

with minced burger meat, a sausage center and a layer of egg sticking to the inner skin of the roti canai and not to forget the spider web like mayonnise topping. 

Nasi lemak Special

something like a roasted chicken here and here we have sotong and prawn in my sambal (a bit sweet for me)

So good to have a makan session with friends as you can chit chat along and most importantly we can order differently and share around the table.....the portion is humongous thou=D

This place is always packed, hailed by many as one of the favorite hangout place in KL.

 It is so crowded that 3 neighboring shops were also used to accomodate the customers.

can stand the wait? can't stand the noise?

It's MAMAK what..... =)

A MUST STOP when you in SS2 for a mamak session!!!
