Bistro Richard @ Sentul KLPac

A quiet little gem, amidst the limited F&B scene around KLPac, this bistro has a little something for everyone. This is a lakeside dining experience for you with a French flavor at Bistro Richard.

Red&white chequered tablecloths, solid wooden Oak panels, all cosily lit by Tiffany stained-glass lamps, Bistro Richard boasts the feel of a typical European bistro, uniquely set in a lush, tropical garden setting.

 APPETIZER

oven baked escargot with garlic butter.(RM28)

Honestly, I was so afraid to try this as it keeps reminding me of snail. But anyhow the smell tempted me to have a try! Each Escargot was buttered up with finely chopped garlic and herbs. The combination fragrant of the butter and garlic was very balanced with the chewy and musky taste of the escargot. 

 Insalata Di Polpo(RM28)

Marinated Octopus with Wine Vinegar, Olive, Celery and Onion.

This is appetizing but the octopus a bit hard to chew on. 

SOUP

Black Mussel Soup (RM38)

Fresh Fish Broth with Mussels, Fresh Vegetables and Milk.

 Oh my I love this! The soup taste just nice to go with the Mussels.

MAIN COURSE

Pan Seared Black Cod (RM65)

Black Cod Fish with Stewed Leeks, Baby Carrot & Saffron Sauce

 The Black Cod is a bit fishy here but nevertheless it paired nicely with the saffron sauce.

Seafood Paella (RM85) 2pax

It has a spicy taste of the smoked paprika combined with the natural taste of the mussels, prawns, squids and clams.Wonderfully comforting, flavoursome and colourful. The paella rice that was used is the fat and roundish type; the rice was rich, wet out and firm inside, caramelized slightly with the sauce. I love it!

DESSERT

Creme Brulee (RM17)

 This creme brulee is light with smooth vanilla custard where you are able to taste the strong vanilla taste, eggs and the milk flavours with just the right thickness of the caramelized burnt sugar on top of it.
